Dog, Owner Making Difference In People's Lives

Our very own Amy Hudoba and her Pet Partner Sparky, were recently highlighted in a feature story on
WLWT Channel 5. In a touching and emotional story, Sparky and Amy were shown visiting Hospice and a favorite patient of theirs, 83-year-old Charlotte Carter. Charlotte noted that her kids “hadn’t seen her smile or be happy about anything in ages,” and that she was “lower than a snake’s belly” until Sparky started visiting her.

Sparky lifts the hearts of many Hospice patients and was even invited to the funeral of a patient they were close to.
